Web Frontend Developer

Who you are

 

As a key member of GIS Routes Dev Team you will be working with the Frond End of GIS Routes Platform.

 

You are a skilled Front-end Developer, with strong knowledge of Javascript and a ninja with the DOM and get excited optimizing UX. You’re able to quickly develop experiments, iterate in an agile fashion and implement the winning variation in a product.

 

You’re comfortable using rapid prototyping tools, to make everybody see what's your vision.

 

You enjoy working closely with designers and outside stakeholders to build awesome UI/UX components and systems.

 

You have experience liaising and collaborating with other team members in determining requirements and specifications.

 

You want to join us in using exciting new technologies to build the next generation of one of the most visible, and prominently last mile logistics platform. You are eager to learn and evolve your technical capabilities.

 

You are great Building high-volume, highly available, scalable and extensible websites/applications, working with REST APIs and applying best practices in the industry.

 

Required Skills & Experience 

 

  • 3+ years proven experience developing Front End Solutions or SaaS
  • You have a BSc or comparable degree in a relevant program or have equivalent work experience.
  • Intermediate knowledge of SPA's development
  • Expert-level in Javascript specifically Angular.js, jQuery
  • Advance knowledge of CSS and Bootstrap
  • Fluent Spanish / Technical English

Back End Developer

Who you are

 

As a key member of GIS Routes Dev Team you will be working with the Back End of GIS Routes Platform. 

 

You’re comfortable working closely with designers and outside stakeholders to build both awesome UI/UX components and systems, as well as backend services and APIs that can process thousands of requests per day.

 

You have experience liaising and collaborating with other team members in determining requirements and specifications.

 

You're an experienced Software Developer, with strong web application development experience, who has experience designing system architectures, including service-oriented architectures. 

 

You're comfortable collaborating in small teams to design, build and ship high-quality software and experienced in iterating in an agile fashion. 

 

You want to help build out our analytics offering and aren't afraid to tackle the challenges of a growing data company.

 

As a member of the Back End team, you will be responsible for designing and building the features and underlying systems that power our core product.

 

You'll get to work with a variety of external and internally developed technologies. Our back end stack is constantly evolving, and you will directly contribute in improving the flexibility, scalability, and efficiency of our system.

 

You will share your ideas with a group of similarly innovative and curious engineers. 

 

Required Skills & Experience 

 

  • 3+ years proven experience developing Back End Solutions or SaaS
  • You have a BSc or comparable degree in a relevant program or have equivalent work experience.
  • Expert-level in .NET (VB and C#), SQL and API's
  • Basic knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure Administration ( Azure or AWS )
  • Fluent Spanish / Technical English

Who you are

 

You have good written and verbal communication skills and feel comfortable interacting with users of GIS Routes in different languages.

 

You have the ability to analyze the origin of the problems and based on the facts propose practical solutions.

 

You are creative generating reports describing the problem and the different metrics analyzed

 

At the Support GIS Team you will work with:

 

Guiding our users get the desired results of the platform

 

Being part of the QA/QC team with DEV, to identify bug's before going live

 

Being the intermediary between the clients point of view of the problem and the dev team technical language.

 

Providing active feedback of common bug's reported

 

Required Skills & Experience 

 

  • +2 Studies in Computer Science, Software Engineering or have equivalent work experience in similar job.
  • Excellent verbal a written skills
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
